Through extensive research and examination of private papers, this book exposes the fact that although Fleming might have denied the connection, the Bond books were in fact autobiographical.

This book was written soon after Ian's death. Since then, John has written 'The Authorised Biography of James Bond' and recently, John's book 'Ian Fleming: The Notes' was published by Queen Anne Press in 2020.
